Mounting antennas
When mounting throwing antennas, note the following:
- Do not install antenna close to metallic objects, cables or light sources.
- Do not lay the antenna along cables
- Do not attach the open end of the antenna with or to metal parts
- For best results, always install antenna at maximum length. See installation manual.
When mounting rod antennas, note the following:
- Do not install antenna close to metallic objects, cables or light sources.
- Do not attach the end of the antenna to metallic objects
- For best results, always install antenna at maximum length. See installation manual.
- Connect the shielding of the coaxial cable to the ground potential of the receiver / motor control unit.
- When extending the cable, use coaxial connectors and keep the cable type (RG58)
- Do not lay the cable in loops, if necessary shorten it to the appropriate length
