Code of Conduct
Introduction
As an employer, we are aware of our social responsibility. Ethical and sustainable behaviour are, therefore, fundamental company values. We expect our employees to respect these values, and observe the principles set out here in their daily work and their dealings with each other.
I. Prohibition of discrimination
We reject any form of discrimination in the work environment. No one may be disadvantaged or favoured on the basis of aspects such as gender, descent, language, native country and origin, marital status, age, disability, faith, religious or political views.
II. Human dignity; rejection of all forms of sexual harassment
Any behaviour that disrespects the human dignity of another person, discriminates against another person or harasses another person is prohibited. We reject any form of sexual harassment of employees.
III. Equal opportunities
We are committed to promoting equal opportunities and diversity, and ensuring that all employment decisions (e.g. recruitment, promotions, remuneration issues, training and development) are made solely based on the skills and qualifications of the individual concerned.
IV. Combating all forms of corruption
We respect the principles of fair and free competition in the context of our business relationships. We, therefore, reject all forms of corruption, including bribery and extortion. Decision-making processes must not be influenced in any way by undue benefits (cash, benefits in kind or pleasure trips etc.).
Acceptance of advantages or the granting of advantages to third parties, in particular of a financial nature, are prohibited.
Employees undertake to behave loyally towards the employer. Conflicts of interest are to be avoided, and potential conflict situations are to be reported at an early stage. Should a personal interest or conflict of interest arise, it must be disclosed.
V. Compliance with the Code of Conduct, contact persons and complaints procedures
Information about violations of this Code of Conduct can be reported at any time to the direct supervisor, or anonymously to the management.
Employees who report indications of violations to the responsible persons will not be disadvantaged in any way. They will not, in particular, be subject to disciplinary measures. Strictest confidentiality is maintained. The identity of whistleblowers is protected.
