REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals)

SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern)

Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) are chemicals identified under the REACH regulation due to their potential serious effects on human health or the environment. These substances are listed by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and can include:

  • Carcinogens: Substances that can cause cancer.
  • Mutagens: Substances that can cause genetic mutations.
  • Reproductive toxins: Substances that can affect reproductive health.
  • Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Toxic (PBT) substances: Chemicals that remain in the environment for a long time, accumulate in living organisms, and are toxic.
  • Very Persistent and Very Bioaccumulative (vPvB) substances: Chemicals that are extremely resistant to degradation and accumulate in living organisms.
  • The SVHC list is updated regularly, and substances on this list may require authorization for use or be subject to restrictions.

The REACH regulation applies to manufacturers or importers, which substances as such and / or substances in preparations containing more than 1.000kg per year produce in the European Union or be import into the European Union.

Throughout the manufacturing process, Dickert Electronic GmbH use only REACH-compliant products when necessary. A registration under the REACH Regulation is therefore not necessary for Dickert Electronic GmbH. If more necessary information needed, Dickert Electronic GmbH will give detail information to substances and products, in accordance with Article 33 of the REACH regulation.
