How do I connect a transmitter with the receiver?
If a transmitter is not yet in operation on site, or if transmitters with KeeLoq coding are involved, an electronic connecting procedure must be carried out.
In gernal, the functional sequence is as follows:
- Briefly tap the learn button on the radio receiver
- LED of the receiver flashes
- Press and hold down the handheld transmitter button that is to be programmed
- Observe the LED of the receiver. Press and hold the handheld transmitter button until the LED on the receiver flashes or flickers.
- Release the handheld transmitter button
- With the next actuation of the transmitter the function is already given
(Pressing and holding the learn button on the receiver will usually erase the entire memory. The exact procedure of the learning process, especially with regard to different operating modes, depends on the respective receiver. Therefore, the description of the learning process is not to be found in the manual of the transmitter, but in that of the receiver.)
Transmitter with coding switch
If a transmitter is already in operation on site at the plant that has a coding switch, you do not have to go to the receiver. No electronic learning process must then be carried out.
Then it is only necessary to set the coding switch of the new transmitter in the same way as for an existing transmitter. When setting the levers from 1-10, pay attention to the positions [ON] / [OFF], not "up" and "down". More information
